Worlds End fire threat downgraded in SA

Two bushfires northeast of Adelaide have been downgraded to advice messages.

Firefighters have gained the upper hand on blazes northeast of Adelaide as grassfires continue to burn across South Australia.

The Country Fire Service on Sunday evening downgraded two bushfires at Worlds End, in the state's Mid-North, and at Mount Crawford, in the Southern Barossa Valley, to advice messages.

"Be careful on the roads. Smoke will reduce visibility and trees and branches may fall," the CFS said on the Worlds End fire.

"Check your property for any fires and embers - particularly in roof spaces, under decks, raised floors and in gutters."

The fire at Worlds End was downgraded from an emergency warning hours earlier and the Mount Crawford blaze from a watch and act.

Multiple grass fires continues to burn across SA.
