Xenophon hopeful of three Senators

Nick Xenophon is hopeful his team will have three senators from South Australia in the new parliament, along with the new Mayo MP Rebekha Sharkie.

But he's less hopeful of the NXT representatives from elsewhere around the country, because of how the Senate is elected.

"Some of the candidates are still in with a chance, but it's too hard to tell which one at this stage," he told Seven on Sunday.
