Adam Zampa is relishing the chance to test himself against some of the best players of spin in the world.
Australia will need to trump both Pakistan and India this week to surge into the semi-finals of the World Twenty20.
Both games are in Chandigarh, where Australia expect to play on a raging turner.
Zampa, who was man of the match in the side's three-wicket win over Bangladesh, can't wait.
"It's going to be a new challenge playing Pakistan and India, they're great players of spin so it's something that I'm really looking forward to," the legspinner said.
"It's been made quite clear that there's been pressure on me to perform over here but I'm very excited about playing those types of players."
Australia take on Pakistan in a match starting at 8.30pm AEDT on Friday before facing hosts India at 1am AEDT on Monday.
"They're both going to be equally hard I think. Both have got great spin bowlers, great players of spin," Zampa said.
"It's going to be interesting to see what the Mohali pitch is like.
"We're going to concentrate on Pakistan now."
Zampa made his international T20 debut earlier this month in South Africa but only claimed his maiden wicket in the format in Bengaluru on Monday.
The dismissal of Mohammad Mithun was followed by that of Shuvagata Hom and Shakib Al Hasan.
Zampa described the haul as a confidence boost.
"The (Indian) pitches, I'm not used to," he said.
"So it's nice to have that little bit of experience and confidence now as well."
Skipper Steve Smith, who played alongside Zampa when he started his career with NSW, has been a great sounding board for the 23-year-old at the World T20.
"I work really well with Steven. He's been really good for my game since I was a young guy," Zampa said.
"To have him standing there at cover all the time is really nice and I think we work together quite well.
"I haven't changed anything at all. My plans are pretty simple and to have him there in the back of my ear to reassure that is nice."
