Alexander Zverev's Australian Open preparations have hit another hurdle with the world No.4 forced to cut short his practice with a foot injury.
The German pulled out of the World Tennis Challenge on Monday in Adelaide with a hamstring issues, although he showed no signs of that injury in his first practice match against Australian Jason Kubler.
Zverev moved freely as he wrapped up their sole set at Margaret Court Arena, 6-2.
But the 21-year-old backed up with a second practice match straight after against another Australian Marc Polmans.
Zverev tumbled during the hit-out and stayed down momentarily.

He tried to continue playing but ended the match two points later with what appeared to be a foot injury, although he managed to walk from the court and signed some autographs.
Meanwhile, Andy Murray has played in four Australian Open finals but his chances of making a fifth look very slim if his practice form is any measure.
Murray lined up against his Open nemesis Novak Djokovic, who beat him in each of those title deciders, in his Margaret Court Arena practice match.
It was 31-year-old Murray's first appearance at Melbourne Park since 2017 and a year on from hip surgery.
His movement looked restricted as world No.1 and six-time Australian champion Djokovic moved him from side to side, and he was unable to chase down a drop shot he would have eaten up in his prime.
The Scotsman showed he hadn't lost his sense of humour after Djokovic conceded a point on a blistering Murray winner and he called out, "You wouldn't have done that if it was the final!"
Murray called time after 49 minutes while trailing 6-1 4-1, although it appeared more to do with the end of their allotted time slot than a retirement.
Unseeded this year, Murray only managed 12 matches in 2018 for seven wins.
