Thousands of students across Australia walked out of their classrooms on Friday to call for stronger action on climate change.
At the more than 110 events across the country, participants made their thoughts known on placards big and small.
Some students took a lighter take on the climate crisis.

While others had a far more serious message for Australia's grown-ups.

Adults also joined in at many of the events.

Some very young Australians also went along.

And humans weren't the only ones to attend.
