Avocados among stolen goods

Police have charged a man with unlawful possession after recovering a number of unusual stolen goods, including hundreds of avocados.

Hundreds of avocados are among a haul of stolen goods recovered from a home in the South Australian Riverland.

Police have charged a 29-year-old man from Renmark with unlawful possession over the haul which also included antique clocks, building insulation and a canoe.

The items were believed stolen in a series of recent break-ins throughout the Riverland region, police say.
