Credit card rates steady despite RBA cuts

Credit card interest rates have barely moved over the years, putting them out of step with the Reserve cash rate.

With cost- of living pressures mounting, more and more attention is being given to fluctuations in mortgage rates, but comparatively little attention is ever given to credit card rates.

Crunching the numbers has revealed they have barely moved over the years, putting them out of step with the Reserve Bank's cash rate.
