Police are investigating a "disturbing" and "cowardly" case of animal cruelty after a video showing a number of men allegedly torturing two kangaroos emerged.
WA police obtained two separate videos filmed on 19 May and 16 June, showing kangaroos being tortured with brass-knuckles and knives.
"On these dates, two kangaroos were tortured and killed. Investigators believe that both of the incidents occurred in Western Australia," the statement read.
Police released images of three men they believe can help them with the investigation.

Joondalup police Detective Senior Sergeant Paul Giuffre called the animal cruelty "cowardly".
"I've seen the videos and honestly, in my 17 years of policing, it's one of the most disturbing things I have seen, hands down," he said.
"It's graphic, it's disturbing, it's cowardly."
The footage was discovered on a mobile phone that was seized in relation to another matter, which is before the courts.
Police are calling for public assistance to identify the men, the first described as 20-30 years of age, fair skinned, medium build with dark facial hair. He was wearing a black hooded top.
The second man is described as 25-30, fair skinned, a solid build with short brown hair. He was also wearing a black hooded top.
The third man was described as 25-30, fair skinned, medium build with facial hair. He was also wearing a dark coloured top.
