Prominent far-right commentator Katie Hopkins has been suspended from Twitter for violating its anti-hate policy.
As of Friday afternoon, the Briton’s Twitter account remained, visible but all her tweets had been removed.
The former contestant on reality television show The Apprentice is known for regularly tweeting pro-Trump, pro-Brexit and anti-immigration messages.
Anti-racism campaigners met with Twitter earlier this week, calling for the platform to remove her account for using it to disseminate hate speech.
A spokesperson for Twitter told the BBC: “Keeping Twitter safe is a top priority for us – abuse and harassment have no place on the service.”
"These rules apply to everyone using our service - regardless of the account involved."
Ms Hopkins' Twitter bio describes her as “Milo’s (Yiannopoulos) Mum. The Female (Nigel) Farage. Angry Ellen de Generes. The Biggest Bitch in Britain.”
Her account currently has over 1.1 million followers.

United States President Donald Trump has re-tweeted Ms Hopkins on several occasions, which has subsequently helped boost her follower count.
It was not immediately clear when her account would be reinstated.
Twitter's policy states users should "not promote violence against or directly attack or threaten other people on the basis of race, ethnicity, national origin, caste, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, religious affiliation, age, disability, or serious disease".
