Melbourne's Federation Square is set to screen another piece of Australian history.

Fans of Chin will be able to celebrate and commiserate the end of her nearly 30 years behind the news desk.
Known for her unique fashion, Chin is keeping her last outfit a secret until the cameras roll.
'Shaken by the news'
Separately, a Lee Lin's Leaving Party Facebook page has been set up urging Australians to tune in for the send-off.
Thousands of Australians have signed up with many sharing the #LetsDoItForLeeLin hashtag.

"Australia was shaken by the news TV legend and fashion icon Lee Lin Chin resigned from SBS," the page says.
"Now, we must unite as a country ... We ask YOU, the people of Australia, to switch on your TV and tune into SBS to witness this epic moment in television history."
While one social media user on the group suggested making July 29 "National Lee Lin Chin Day".
Chin's penultimate night on Saturday acted as a warm-up, or as the newsreader put it "the 2nd most important night of your life".
Three decades at SBS
Over three decades, Chin has been a fixture of Australians' Saturday and Sunday evenings and gained a reputation for her style.
A Gold Logie nominee, Chin has told some of the world's biggest stories including the Port Arthur massacre, the September 11 attacks and the death of Nelson Mandela.

“Having spent the bulk of my professional life at SBS, this isn't by any means an easy decision," Chin said on Thursday.
Chin is yet to announce her next steps, although a stint at Queensland Police may be on the cards.
