The Glenn Miller Orchestra will tour Australia for three months as part of its 77th anniversary celebrations.
Kicking off in May, the orchestra's Australian shows will feature the Moonlight Serenade singers, Broadway Swing dancers, and original Glenn Miller arrangements.
There will also be the songs made famous by the Andrews Sisters, Bing Crosby, Frank Sinatra and Vera Lynn.
Another feature will be music from the library of The Glenn Miller Army Air Force Band.
"The Glenn Miller Orchestra is a colourful and flamboyant evening filled with fun and nostalgia of the '30s and '40s," musical director Rick Gerber said in a statement.
"Our unique jazz sound is sought all around the world and in addition to recreating the golden era of swing, we bring to life the colour, costumes and spirit."
The Glenn Miller Orchestra 77th anniversary tour starts on May 17 in Nowra, NSW. From there it will tour other NSW towns and cities (including Sydney's State Theatre on May 23 and 24), then play numerous dates in Victoria, Tasmania, ACT, Queensland, Western Australia and South Australia.
