The entertainment world is mourning the death of Taiwanese-Canadian actor and model Godfrey Gao.
The 35-year-old collapsed on the set of Chase Me, a sports challenge show broadcast by China’s Zhejiang Television.
A statement from the network said Mr Gao began to slow, and fell to the ground while on set, with local health authorities confirming the star suffered from sudden cardiac arrest.
Gao was the first Asian model to serve as the face of Louis Vuitton, and in 2013 played the role of Magnus Bane in Hollywood action film The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.

Gao's efforts and success have been credited with breaking down barriers for other ethnically-diverse public figures.
Across the Chinese internet, critics are questioning the conditions on the Chase Me show, fearing lives are being put at risk in the chase for ratings.
On Wednesday evening, Mr Gao's death was one of the most widely discussed topics across Chinese blogging site Weibo, with many some users calling for a boycott of Zhejiang Television.
The agency who represented Mr Gao, JetStar entertainment, has released a statement saying they are “shocked and saddened” by the incident and that representatives were “always directly by his side, whilst his family is rushing to the scene.”
