J.K. Rowling trolls Trump after boast about expert writing skills

Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling was left in a fit of laughter at a tweet from President Donald Trump's account, which boasted about his writing ability.

J.K. Rowling has offered President Trump some writing advice after spotting a glaring typo in a tweet – which boasted about his writing ability. 

The tweet from the president's account criticised 'fake news' press - saying journalist liked to "pour over" his tweets looking for errors. 

The phrase 'pore over' means to study carefully. The phrase in Mr Trump's tweet was incorrect, it has since been corrected. 

Mr Trump's tweet also boasted about his "many best selling books" to his name and his writing ability.

J.K. Rowling, an award-winning author with many titles to her name spotted the error and offered up a correction... and plenty of laughter.

She also offered some writing advice.

Other Twitter users pointed out the glaring mistake, including filmmaker and author James Gunn and Merriam-Webster Dictionary's official account.
