Lidia Thorpe sworn in as the first Aboriginal Victorian Senator

New Greens senator Lidia Thorpe has been sworn in to replace the Victorian seat of former leader Richard Di Natale. Ms Thrope entered the chamber wearing a possum skin cloak and doing a Black Power salute. In a post on Twitter she said: 'I'm so proud to be the first Aboriginal Victorian Senator and working alongside my Greens colleagues.'
