Argentina are down to 10 men after Fernandez picks up a second yellow card!
He catches Curbarsi with a late challenge at the halfway line, who almost does a front flip.
After some back and forth with the referee, Fernandez finally leaves the pitch.
Messi appeals to the referee, claiming Cucurella covered his mouth while talking to him. Under new rules, a player who does that during a confrontation receives a red card.
But nothing comes from it, and the play continues.

Messi’s influence on the final has been almost completely negated by this well-organised and controlling Spanish midfield.
It must be said La Rioja won’t be happy until they breach this Argentine defence.
The European champions haven’t looked in danger of conceding themselves, and there are only a few minutes left of normal time.

Play resumes and Argentina has made more changes.
With Romero and De Paul making way for Medina and Simeone.
They've now changed three of their four starting back four.
