One Nation senator Peter Georgiou sworn in

One Nation's Peter Georgiou has been sworn in as a senator after recovering from the measles.

Pauline Hanson's bloc of four in the Senate has been restored with the swearing-in of One Nation senator Peter Georgiou.

He was sworn in as a senator on Monday, the ceremony delayed by a week after he contracted measles in Bali.

He replaces his brother-in-law Rodney Culleton who was twice disqualified as a senator after being declared a bankrupt by the Federal Court, and after the High Court found he was never eligible to have been elected due to a larceny conviction.
