Australian activists detained in Israel after trying to deliver aid to Gaza have been deported to Türkiye following a video of an Israeli minister taunting detainees.

Activists on board a Gaza-bound flotilla have arrived at Istanbul Airport after being released by Israeli authorities.

Eleven Australians were among 428 people intercepted by Israeli forces at gunpoint in international waters on Tuesday.

Australian Juliet Lamont says during the 80 hours in Israeli detention, activists were subjected to abuse.

"The Israeli government is in absolute implosion because the systematic violent, sexual assault. At least 40 of our comrades on the prison boat have broken bones. There was about 15 sexual assaults."

Liberal senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price has denied she agreed with remarks that Australia should stop hundreds of thousands of migrants coming from India, China, Africa and the Middle East.

Ms Price was interviewed by combat veteran Sam Bamford for an hour-long episode on his 2 Worlds Collide podcast, published on Thursday.

Labor's Multicultural Minister Anne Aly criticised Ms Price's interactions on the podcast, posting a statement on social media saying that Australians should not have to deal with the Liberal Party "questioning their existence and contribution to our nation".

In a statement, Ms Price says her agreement was in response to the podcaster's remark that his question contained "a lot of information" covering multiple issues.

Members of the Aboriginal community in Queensland have gathered at event to honour Stolen Generations survivors, ahead of National Sorry Day next week.

This year marks 29 years since the landmark 'Bringing Them Home' report was tabled in federal parliament, which found that between a 10th and a third of Indigenous children were forcibly removed from their families and communities between about 1910 and 1970.

The report also acknowledged that what governments did to members of the Stolen Generations was inhumane - and the impacts have been lifelong.

Stolen Generations survivor Brett Nutley says the journey of truth-telling, healing and justice is ongoing.

"And one thing that I am very proud of what I did in the past was that Aunty Lorraine come to me and said: Brett, we're going for native title on K'gari and Butchulla. Can you represent our family? And I did that; and we did it eh? We did it! (applause). That is what I wanted to give (convey) today. It is that strength. It is all possible. We have our sad moments. But we overcome those; and that makes us who we are."

The Minister for Indigenous Australians says today's meeting of Indigenous ministers around the country must result in action on a range of areas including health, education and the criminal justice system.

Malarndirri McCarthy says there will be discussion about the outbreak of diphtheria cases affecting mostly Indigenous communities in the Northern Territory, but also places in Western Australia, South Australia and Queensland.

The government announced a $7.2 million package yesterday to support a surge in workforce for vaccinations and treatments.

Ms McCarthy says there is a lot more work that needs to be done to achieve all 19 targets set out in the National Agreement on Closing the Gap, including in health.

"No-one is immune from this. We must make sure that we work as a country and the Coalition of Peaks in particular, the Aboriginal Community Controlled sector, with NACCHO leading this in working with the Commonwealth. And also with the national care and the critical care and response trauma centre in Darwin. These will be important issues."

To sport, in the NRL, Dolphins coach Kristian Woolf says he is proud of the team after it defeated the Raiders 30-22, to achieve a fourth consecutive victory - a club first.

Playmaker Isaiya Katoa says the Dolphins drew on last season's campaign for inspiration after injuries prevented the team from making the top eight.

Woolf says the team really delivered.

"I just thought we really tough. We could have been a little bit smarter in the second half. We should have allowed to become a bit scrappy. There was no doubt about our desire to win. We had to win it quickly. What I loved is just the way we hung in and defended our line there at the end. What I loved was the way we hung in there and defended our line there at the end. It's everything you want to see in a footy team. We have a lot of spirit. A lot of desire to play for each other; and it's a great win for the club."
