Gravitational waves: Australian scientists first to confirm radio signals from two colliding stars

The astrophysics world is excited after the first-ever observation of two neutron stars merging in a cataclysmic crash. It's being called one of the greatest scientific events in recent history and the avalanche of data it has resulted in is helping scientists to unlock some of the mysteries of the universe.
