More financial support is on its way for people impacted by record flooding as the massive clean-up begins in far north Queensland.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Queensland Premier Steven Miles are set to unveil more assistance packages as they visit flood-hit areas today.
About 35 communities are isolated with Kowanyama in the remote Cape York bracing for major flooding over the weekend.
Individual disaster funding has already been made available since record rainfall and flooding caused by Tropical Cyclone Jasper devastated the far north.
Mr Albanese told channel Nine more help is on its way.
"Today we'll be announcing increased support for primary producers for small business and non government organisations for the non local government areas in addition to that support for the tourism sector, and if you have a booking here in far north Queensland, please don't just cancel. They want people to continue to come to the region to provide support for their economy as they come out of what has been a devastating period."

The federal opposition have launched a domestic violence awareness drive ahead of the holiday season.
Acting Opposition Leader Sussan Ley and Senator Kerrynne Liddle are calling on Australians to use social media to share support services available.
It comes as the latest government data demonstrates a significant increase in domestic violence over the Christmas-New Year holidays.
Ms Sussan Ley says every Australian has a role to play in supporting those affected by domestic violence.
"We know unfortunately that domestic and family violence spikes during holiday months by 25 per cent Usually, and certainly on critical days like New Year's Day, it may go up by almost 100 per cent. So while you yourself might not need the service, someone around you probably does. Please share the services to save a life this Christmas season."
If you or someone you know wants to talk about family or domestic violence, call 1800RESPECT on 1800 737 732 or call Lifeline on 13 11 14. In an emergency, call 000.

Aid trucks have crossed the Rafah border into Gaza and then back into Egypt as dual nationals were leaving Gaza entering Egypt, and injured Palestinians were arriving.
According to a statement issued by the Hamas-run government media office, the death toll in Gaza has reached 20,000.
The statement says the victims included about 8,000 children and 6,200 women, while more than 52,000 people were injured and 6,700 others were missing.
It also suggests a total of 310 medical personnel, 35 civil defence personnel and 97 journalists were killed in the Israeli attacks.
Israel’s military says 131 of its soldiers have been killed in its ground offensive after Hamas raided southern Israel, killing about 1,200 people, mostly civilians, and taking about 240 hostages.
More than two-thirds of Gaza's population of 2.3 million have fled their homes, the vast majority of them internally displaced.
But Gaza resident Iman Basal remains hopeful.
"Hearing some talks that there are discussions about a truce. I hope they reach an agreement and may God bless everyone. Enough people have died. There is no house without a martyr or a wounded person. There are those whose homes have been demolished. There are those whose workplaces have been burned. There are those who have lost their cars. And this is everywhere. In Gaza, in Nuseirat, in Deir al-Balah, in Khan Yunis, in Rafah."

And in sport,
A $70 million high-performance training centre for Tasmania's AFL team will be constructed at parklands on the eastern shore of Hobart.
The state government has announced Rosny Parklands has been chosen site for the facility, which will include two ovals and a coaching and administrative base.
The government says the centre will be completed by 2026 for the team's expected 2028 start in the national league.
Tasmania was in May granted the AFL's 19th licence, contingent on the construction of a new roofed waterfront stadium at Macquarie Point in Hobart.
The high performance centre will support AFL, AFLW, VFL and VFLW players along with youth and academy programs.
