Saudi Arabia to lift ban on women driving

Saudi Arabia is to allow women to drive from next June in an historic decision. The ban on women driving has been widely seen as a symbol of repression of women in the ultra-conservative Kingdom, the last country in the world to permit women behind the wheel.
