The Strait of Hormuz will re-open under a ceasefire between Israel and the United States.
In a post on social media, US President Donald Trump says he made the decision after speaking to Pakistan's Prime Minister who had requested a fortnight's ceasefire.
Iran's Supreme National Security Council says it also accepts the two-week ceasefire and will negotiate with the United States.
Iran's Foreign Minister has stated passage through the Strait of Hormuz will be permitted for the next fortnight under the management of Iran's military.

Ben Roberts-Smith will remain in jail for at least the next two months.
His lawyer did not apply for bail for the 47-year-old Victoria Cross recipient who has been charged with war crimes.

High rates of Indigenous youth incarceration have prompted a call from more than 200 organsiations and civil leaders for a national emergency summit on youth justice.
Among them is Acting Chair of National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Services, Nerita Waight, who says locking up children increases the likelihood they'll reoffend into their teen and adult years.
Data from the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare shows First Nations children are now 27 times more likely to be detained than their non-Indigenous counterparts, compared to 15 times as likely in 2020.

Queensland Police says it's working closely with petrol stations across the state to prevent fuel theft and to ensure staff safety, after several incidents in recent weeks.
Service station employees are being advised to prioritise safety and to contact police if they suspect a vehicle is stolen, or if a driver is attempting to steal fuel.
Queensland Police have warned car owners to finalise payment immediately for any petrol taken - to avoid a fine and potential prosecution.

In Cuba's capital, Havana, hundreds of Cuban women have protested against the US oil embargo choking the island.
Mr Trump recently said he expected to have the "honour" of taking Cuba in some form and that he could anything he wanted with the neighbouring country.
Ailin Calvo is from the Federation of Cuban Women, a large group closely linked to the government and the Communist Party - and she says enough is enough.
"It affects us daily, in our families, in hospitals, at home, regarding supplies, and in many other things we need on a daily basis."

The four Artemis astronauts are making their return journey home after successfully completing a lunar flyby.
The group are due to splash down in the Pacific off the California coast late Friday.
The 10-day mission by the NASA Artemis Two crew is full of historic firsts, including breaking the record for the furthest distance travelled from Earth.
NASA administrator Jared Isaacman says this mission is part of a broader program paving the way for a Moon landing in 2028.
"A lot of people's rightful attention right now is on the crew of Artemis II, especially the the recovery forces that are now making their way out to to bring this crew back to our family. And for everybody else, we've got the other things to get done, including thinking about Artemis three... We can do we can undertake again, world changing missions like like Artemis II right now and get ready for the next one's at the same time."
