The Liberals will claim victory at the South Australian election, an exit poll has predicted, less than an hour before polls close.
The Channel 9 Galaxy poll says the Liberals are ahead on a two-party preferred basis with 50.5 per cent of the vote, compared to Labor's 49.5 per cent, giving them 24 or 25 seats in the 47-seat parliament.
Nick Xenophon's SA-BEST has slipped to just 15 per cent of the primary vote, the poll says, compared to 36 per cent for the Liberals, 31 per cent for Labor and eight per cent for the Greens.
Internal Labor polling, however, has predicted the state will soon have a hung parliament.
Those figures reported by Sky News show each of the major parties will win 21 seats.
Despite the mixed predictions, Opposition Leader Steven Marshall has told Channel 9 he's looking forward to a "good result" on Saturday.
"We've had a good day. There's definitely a very positive mood," he said.
Mr Marshall was unwilling to say which seats he will look to for early indications of how things will play out, saying the election was too "topsy-turvy" for that.
"We're very confident that we've run a very good campaign in a range of seats where Labor has traditionally been strong," he said.
