An Adelaide City Councillor wants life-saving defibrillators installed in city streets.
Cr Phillip Martin says it would cost about $100,000 to install 30 automated external defibrillators (AEDs) in public places around the CBD.
AEDs come in a small pouches and offer voice prompts to deliver a reviving pulse to patients in cardiac arrest.
"If you save one life in the period of one year or two years, what an investment. What a sound investment," he told ABC radio on Tuesday.
