Scott Morrison has responded to the photoshop fail that saw his shoes trending for the wrong reasons on Wednesday morning.

Keen observers noticed the prime minister appeared in his official website image with two left feet and a clean pair of white sneakers after a photoshop mistake.

Mr Morrison posed in a relaxed manner with his wife and two daughters for a photo for the official government website, but social media users noticed white trainers were quite clearly photoshopped into the image.

The photoshop fail gave the prime minister two left feet.

The prime minister responded to the edited photo with a lighthearted joke and showed his scuffed up runners in all their glory.

The photo on his website was promptly replaced with the original photo on Wednesday morning showing Mr Morrison wearing the scuffed up sneakers. That photo was then cropped to remove his feet entirely.

Social media users were quick to call out the prime minister on the edited photo.
