Literally, translating to ‘the devil in the details’ in Japanese, it comes as no surprise that Saibu no Akuma is all about the finer detail in men's fashion. The business creates tailored menswear, blurring the lines between formalwear and streetwear while also adding a modern casual feel to traditional clothes.

Founder Tony Wu says, “There’s three elements to our business that are really crucial – one’s human interaction, two’s imagination, and three’s creativity.”

Each client has a 60 minute consultation, in which they discuss their clothing needs. They have 11 measurements taken to ensure the clothes have the best fit. Like most small businesses, Tony has a real passion for what he does.

“We really want to focus on providing a really good customer experience. We started this business that we absolutely loved, but as the business growths, you get distracted by the flow of work and it takes you away from doing the things you love,” he says.

According to MYOB, 26% of SMEs say cashflow puts extreme pressure on running their business.

Saibu no Akuma tackles this issue with MYOB PayDirect – a simplified point of sale that allows them to also keep track of their cashflow, payroll and invoicing.

The device also has a contactless payment system, catering to the 60% of Australians who pay via this quick new method.

This ensures the guys at Saibu no Akuma can put their customers first.
