Australian social enterprise, Thankyou is now selling their core body range internationally.
The brand has launched in New Zealand, and their hand wash, body wash and soaps, have sold out and been re-stocked multiple times.
The business plans to add its maternity and baby-care range in New Zealand soon, with all profits shared among needy communities in Australia, and around the world.
Co-founder, Daniel Flynn began Thankyou 10 years ago, at the age of 19. He and a friend had pooled $1,000, and began pounding the pavement to bring their cause to potential investors.
Their aim was to produce and sell a range of products and use the profits to help people who live on less than $1.50 a day.
Small Business Secrets first met Daniel in 2016, when he explained his vision to fund projects in dozens of countries, helping people who face extreme hardship.
Daniel said he felt compelled to act after observing the world water crisis, while traveling abroad.
"I watched kids who’d lost brothers and sisters from diseases, from water they’d spent half a day or a whole day collecting for their family. (Contaminated water) is killing those who they love most."
The business has raised more than $6 million so far, providing access to clean water and improving sanitation for almost 800,000 people.
Their body care range is being sold in New Zealand supermarkets New World, Pak 'n Save and Four Square supermarkets.
