Being that 2016 is the year of our Lord and Saviour, it seems only fitting to note that an Australian university is putting its pun and booze drinking talents to good use and paying homage to the Logie-nominated media God herself, Lee Lin Chin.
The Adelaide University Media Association (AUMA) have chosen the theme for this year’s pub crawl and it is none other than ‘Lee Lin Gin’.
“We were sitting around one day, doing what uni students do best (avoiding thinking about our assignments/bank balances/lack of future job prospects) and talk turned to the general awesomeness of Lee Lin Chin,” the AUMA told SBS. “Being tremendously witty and clever we realised that Chin and Gin rhymed and that we’d accidentally created the best pub crawl theme ever!”

“Lee Lin Chin once described her Zodiac sign as God. I’d say that sums up pretty well what she means to us.”
Of course there are many reasons to choose Lee Lin Chin as your inspiration. “[While] it's hard to pick Lee Lin's strengths because let's be honest, she has no weaknesses… if we had to choose we’d say she has a sweet style (we're already calling Best Dressed at the Logies) and she absolutely slays it on Twitter!
As with all budding media students, the AUMA is no different when it comes to their future job prospects taking all the advice they can from their idol. “Sometimes it's good to have dreams and aspirations. Other times you need just need to face reality,” they said as they linked these particular favourite tweets:
Like most pub crawls, the AUMA aren’t going to let themselves or Lee Lin Chin down with their antics. “We’ll be living in Lee Lin Sin - there will definitely be a lot of six-pack licking and body shots going on! (Just kidding, maybe ... )
Their parting shot to The Chin, “Want to come on our pub crawl?”
And while we can’t guarantee she’ll be in attendance, the SBS Queen did have this to say about all this pub crawling hoopla. “To the Adelaide University Media Association I say, ‘make good choices, pick your waterhole well and your sexual contacts even better.’’”
Amen to that.

Cheers AUMA. (SBS) Source: SBS
