Briggs bought a billboard just to let Pauline Hanson know what he’s thinking

The rapper said he was ‘fuming’ about finding the One Nation leader’s billboard in his hometown, so he decided to get one of his own.

Earlier this week, One Nation unveiled a key ingredient of their nation-wide media campaign: billboards across the country featuring Pauline Hanson and the words: "I've got the guts to say what you're thinking".

This morning it was revealed that Australian rapper Briggs had the guts to speak back - buying his own billboard directly behind Pauline's in the Victorian town of Shepparton.

In a segment for The Weekly, Briggs revealed that when he spotted the billboard in his hometown, he was fuming.

"There she's saying 'I've got the guts to say what you're thinking'," he told host Charlie Pickering.

Which is a polite way of saying 'I don't mind being racist'.
Concerned that the One Nation leader didn't know what he was thinking, Briggs took a very literal - and very large - approach in responding to Hanson's statement.

"I'm thinking I can't wait to see the back of Pauline Hanson,' the billboard reads.

Hanson has yet to respond to the new advertisements.

The Feed confirmed with The Weekly that yes, this is a real billboard. It's understood the billboard will remain until May 12.

Earlier this week, the rapper released his first solo track in four years. As he told NITV's Rachael Hocking, the inspiration for the piece came from Hanson's "it's OK to be white" motion.

"I cop all this s... all the time and I'm sick of it."

It's been a week of scandals for One Nation.

Earlier this week, Steve Dickson resigned after a video was leaked of the candidate groping dancers at a Washington DC strip club.

Pauline Hanson said she was 'shocked and disappointed' at the images.

I have always spoken very highly of Steve Dickson, but the footage I saw last night cannot be ignored or condoned,
In a tearful TV interview on Tuesday, Hanson said she'd been 'let down' for years.

"I cop all this s*** all the time, and I'm sick of it. Absolutely sick of it," the One Nation leader told Nine's A Current Affair on Tuesday night.

"I have been let down dreadfully ... I can give you a whole list of them. A whole list of people having a go at me ... I have had Fraser Anning and Brian Burston and a whole list, David Oldfield, all of them. Where are they now?"

However, Hanson's headaches didn't end with Dickson's resignation.

Another One Nation candidate found himself in hot water yesterday afternoon, after several sexist posts were unearthed from his social media platforms.

Ross MacDonald, who's running for a lower house seat, shared images of himself groping women, one with the caption 'mmmm YUMMY'.

In one particularly bizarre post - the candidate shared an image of a semi-naked 'centaur' woman with the words 'MMMM!! Interesting thoughts.'

The photos were widely shared across media outlets before being removed from Facebook.
