Brit rocker Liam Gallagher puts his hand up to lead UK parliament

Could a rogue figure save UK politics from shambles?

Liam Gallagher: Abusive Parents, Manchester and Music

"The assault, I think was justice. I know the law doesn't say that, but the geezer put a camera in my face and I told him not to."

In case you haven’t noticed, UK politics are a bit of a mess right now as the in-power Tory party scramble to nominate a new leader following Teresa May’s resignation over the Brexit deadline.

An unexpected figure has emerged from the sidelines and offered to lead the nation; ex-Oasis lead singer Liam Gallagher.

Gallagher has taken to Twitter to convince punters why he’s the man for the job: he’s a father, he’s experimented with drugs and he has a string of number one charting singles.

He followed it up with a tweet that is more convincing than any politician’s speech that we here at The Feed have ever seen.

When asked by a fan what his first act as prime minister would be, he replied, “Get Oasis back together, I’d make it law.”

It’s not the first time the controversial musician has involved himself in politics.

And by that we mean he yelled at his brother, fellow muso Noel Gallagher, over Twitter for allegedly not voting in the Brexit referendum after Noel labeled ardent ‘remainers’ as “cunts” .

“Dolly Gallagher” is seemingly in reference to Liam’s comments made in 2017 that Noel was singing Oasis songs like Dolly Parton.

Of course, this could all be guerilla marketing for Liam’s upcoming solo album, ‘Why Me? Why Not’ - a phrase he used to close out his original tweet.
