Well, not really. But not content with telling you to lose weight and use the Zoosk dating ap on their own platform, Facebook is now allowing advertisers to use your profile data to buy ads on third party platforms. It’s part of their ongoing battle with Google, who have been reading your emails to target ads for years.
This will understandably rankle privacy advocates, but the truth of the matter is, if you’re that concerned about your data being used to sell you things, you probably shouldn’t be on Facebook at all. Or use gmail, or google… or really anything on the web.
There’s only one way to fight this. Your every move on Facebook every post, every click, and every view, but be carefully crafted to make you appear like the happiest, most fulfilled, most perfectest person ever to have lived.
Facebook will realize that you are complete, want for nothing, and stop trying to sell you stuff. You’ll lose all your friends, but it’s a small price to pay.

In the face of decreasing Facebook privacy, some designers have come up with something they term the Anti-Facebook.
