Crowdfunding reaches a climax
Many of the greatest new ideas have surfaced through crowdfunding websites like Kickstarter or Indiegogo. But have these sites finally reached a climax with the latest idea calling for funding.
Vibease is a "smart wearable vibrator" that can be programmed via a smartphone app. Women can program the vibrator themselves or let their partners do it for them remotely at any time of the day.
The company is aiming to raise $15,000 through their crowdfunding campaign, and with 30 days to go look like they should easily hit that goal. Soon it doesn't matter where you are, or what you're doing, you can always share a special moment with someone you love.
Google designer visualises The Beach Boys
Everyone loves The Beach Boys. They defined a culture of music and now they've been visualised.
Google designer Alexander Chen was inspired by the sound of church bells and set himself the task of making a digitised version of the harmony.
Chen heard that The Beach Boys' "You Still Believe in Me" was inspired by a church choir and so used it as the backing for his piece. The end result is something of beauty.
