Good News: Wikileaf

Because absolutely everything is on the internet these days.

Good News: Wikileaf

Good News: Wikileaf

Attention, 4/20 fiends! The internet has revolutionized the way we shop for pretty much everything you can imagine. And now another industry is set to be upended; marijuana.

A startup that refers to itself as 'the Priceline of pot' has launched a website called Wikileaf. You simply enter your zip code, your budget, and it will bring up all the retailers in your area and price range. You enter your zipcode, how much you want to spend, and how far you're willing to travel, and it brings up all the salient information about the product in question.

The starup in based in the famously liberal Seattle and includes 1,100 'medical' dispensaries across Calafornia, Colorado, Washington, Nevada, Arizona and Oregon. It can be expected to expand as either medical marijuana legalisation moves east across the country, and when a search tool for recreational users is launched next year.

Wikileaf is also exploring new business models, such as delivering directly to consumers. This would both make it one of the more dangerous sites to be able to access on your phone after midnight, and also reduce the likelihood of hilarious encounters like this.
