Greens’ Senator Mehreen Faruqi just made a late play for best Twitter content of the federal election

Labor, Liberal, Green, minority parties - whoever you vote for, respect this iconic meme moment.

There's no better time than a federal election for the communications teams of our politicians to take a chance and flex their comedic skills.

We've seen Game of Thrones memes,
even more Game of Thrones memes,
and a Star Wars meme just to really shake things up:
The list really does go on and on.

But this eleventh-hour offering from Greens' Senator Mehreen Faruqi may take the cake. It's both a very innocent... and absolutely brutal take.

Here's the thread she's posted: a friendly call to get out and vote, have your say, engage - vote Green, basically.

Now read the first letter of each tweet - two words will appear.
Engadine Maccas. Two words The Feed has thus far avoided to even mention, as it relates to a particularly embarrassing (and we must stress, thoroughly alleged - not confirmed) incident involving our current Prime Minister way, way back in the day.

We're not going to be the ones to deep dive into said alleged incident. Google it.

But suffice to say, Mehreen Faruqi has absolutely delivered in this golden meme moment.
Game of Thrones photoshop, eat your heart out.
