You can't blame them. Whenever the Star Wars universe has moved too far away from its home planet, it's gone crazily out of orbit. Even Return Of The Jedi was satisfying, but needed to straight-murder a bunch of teddy bears in order to have emotional impact.
And then there were the prequels: the less said about them the better, which is why this paragraph ends here.
But as the force awakened, so did a new hope, which wasn't really so much of a coincidence as it was because the movie was almost entirely a remake of A New Hope.
Thankfully, Honest Trailers have taken the time to point this out to you.
We should be clear: we're not trying to spoil your enjoyment of The Force Awakens. Because it was great, even if you had seen it before.
