Marc found ways to intercept security camera footage, he experimented with supposed 'digital' drugs and he even compared the speed of Telstra's rural Internet service to the speed of a homing pigeon. The pigeon won. Marc now hosts ABC Radio's technology culture programme Download This Show which airs on Radio National, ABC Local Radio and throughout the Asia Pacific region on Radio Australia. It frequently ranks as the #1 technology podcast in Australia and last year won iTunes Best New Audio Podcast. But Marc his best known for being "That Movie Guy" to over 1.7 million people each week across triple j, ABC Radio and for the last two years on Network Ten's The Circle. Marc has interviewed everyone from movie stars to acclaimed filmmakers Ang Lee and P.T Anderson, Musicians like Noel Gallagher and Rihanna right through to the creator of the web itself Sir Tim Berners-Lee. Marc's imaginatively titled first book That Movie Book was released through Harper Collins in November 2011. Marc's television career actually began at SBS TV when he was selected from hundreds of applicants to present on The Movie Show at the tender age of 19. Since then Marc has gone on to be a fixture on Australian television and radio appearing on The Project, Sunrise, A Current Affair, Ten News, ABC News 24 and Sky News. He's thrilled to be rejoining SBS as they launch an exciting new chapter.
