Mum posts on Craigslist to request tutor for her son who finds gender studies "boring"

Ladies, we have found your new job/boyfriend.

Don't you hate having to take subjects you're not interested in? So does Nate.

This ad surfaced on Craigslist in the past day, and we've got to say, we feel sorry for poor Nate.

For a start, he's a young man in a world clearly intent on making him learn about women and one of the most important political movements in modern history.

Secondly, he's not just a man but a sophisticated young man, who would much rather be dining in elegant restaurants, possibly in preparation for his future career as a mid-level entertainment lawyer, living the Entourage dream.

Thankfully he does have support in the form of a helpful mother, who, despite his being 22, is still on hand to give a hand with his homework. She's happy to pay someone to "bring his paper to fruition", which sounds suspiciously like "do it for him".

While it's easy to see this as the epitome of male entitlement, there's no need to worry. Apparently Nate will only take one to two weeks to learn about the patriarchy, gender norms, structural inequality, bodily restriction, and Buffy The Vampire Slayer to shake off his social conditioning and become the feminist ally we all know he can be.

The Craigslist ad has sadly been removed, so either a tutor has been found, or the poster has abandoned her quest to turn her son into The Feminist Prince Of Bel Air.
