Do you ever get a text and then find yourself wasting time using words to communicate your response???
Well, now you don't have to.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, so a GIF - a bunch of pictures all together like a flip book* - must be worth thousands of words and is therefore the most effective form of communication in this day and age.
Given that modern life is so busy, it's important that we communicate effectively, so the announcement that Giphy is launching a GIF-keyboard app for iPhone is very, very good news.
Called Giphy Keys, the app allows you to search the Giphy database to find the perfect response, as well as browsing through different sections like Reactions, Explore - which lets you browse by topic, Favourites, Recents, and Magic 8 Ball, which will let you use Giphy's super secret commands.
So how is Giphy Keys different from any of the other third-party GIF keyboards available currently? Well, it's easy to use.
"There’s a ton of third-party GIF keyboards out there and we actually power a lot of them, but in terms of the UI [user interface], we noticed a lot of them are really similar in that it’s all GIFs right there under your thumb — and that’s great, but the intention is to switch in and out of your keyboard," Giphy's Director of Mobile Products Jillian Fisher told Mashable.

"It’s a pretty frustrating experience, especially if you have more than one [keyboard app] installed, we wanted to avoid that situation where you feel like you're trapped in that keyboard."
So there you have it. Now all you have to do is work out what to do with all the spare time you're bound to have on your hands now that you're not forced to use words to communicate like a damn commoner.
