Problematic potholes fixed after penis protest

"Wanksy" strikes again.

English residents have harnessed the power of the peen to motivate their council to fix potholes.

The phallic adorned road in Middlesbrough was repaired just days after pictures were posted to a community Facebook page.

The BBC reported that Middlesbrough Council said their road repair team were already in town to fix the potholes.

But Resident Brad Nicholson posted a picture of the road after the repairs, saying that the potholes had been there for a year before the graffiti prompted action.

“The power of the Willy,” he wrote on Facebook.

This isn’t the first time a local “wanksy” has spray-painted genitalia to mobilise local government to fix potholes in England.

Earlier this year, the BBC reported penile pothole protests in Essex, prompting authorities to instigate repairs.

In 2015, Wanksy worked their artistic magic in Manchester after a cyclist was injured by bad roads.
