Big yellow taxis are as much a staple of the New York cityscape as the Chrysler Building or Statue of Liberty - and some of their drivers are cashing in on that fact for a good cause.
The 2017 NYC Taxi Drivers calendar pictures regular male drivers in typically pin-up style poses with a portion of the money made from sales going to University Settlement, a local non-profit that services immigrant and low-income families.
Currently in its fourth year, the calendar has raised close to AU$73,000 to help the organisation continue to provide education, housing, age care services and wellness programs to those in need.
It markets itself as featuring “12 of the city's most scintillating and good-humored yellow cab drivers" who behind their tongue-in-cheek calendar poses “put a face to one of the most dedicated workforces, driving day and night to transport New Yorkers and our guests alike”.
