Presidential hopeful Ted Cruz has just dropped out of the Republican primary race, after losing an essential state of Indiana to his arch nemesis and Republican frontrunner Donald Trump.
Naturally the internet has weighed in with their opinions on the turn of events, sharing their condolences, congratulations, and fueling the fire of conspiracy #ZodiacTed.
The conspiracy is that Ted Cruz is actually the infamous Zodiac serial murderer, who still remains at large. The meme began after the Daily Dot reported @RedPillAmerica declared Cruz was the Zodiac Killer three years ago, well before Cruz was on the presidential campaign trail.
The reactions to Cruz's departure from the nomination race has only furthered support for the theory.
