The internet is divided over #IceBae

#IceBae has gone viral on Twitter for...being an attractive woman. However, some are questioning the morality of the organisation she represents.

A photo of an attractive US Customs and Border Patrol agent standing in front of a cage full of detained asylum seekers has gone viral online, with divided reactions from the public.
The woman was quickly dubbed #IceBae, in reference to the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agency, which is currently under fire for allegedly keeping detainees in inhumane conditions and the recent deaths of children in custody.

Many Twitter users, some of them identifying as Trump supporters, heaped praise on #IceBae.

While others are more critical of the attention being pointed at the officer.

The women in question has cottoned on to her newfound internet stardom. She identified herself as Kiara C and started a Twitter account that has quickly gained over 16,000 followers.
When questioned over the validity of an unverified Twitter account Kiara posted a video as evidence to confirm her identity.
She also responded to those questioning the morality of her working in facilities that visiting Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez dubbed “concentration camps”.

“I can’t agree with concentration camps. But... this station in particular isn’t meant to be a holding facility hence the overpopulation of aliens,” Kiara tweeted.

“We are doing our best but some people won’t ever understand. They don’t know the daily of what my job consists of.”

Kiara was originally identified from footage of US Vice President Mike Pence’s visit to a Texas border camp.

Mr Pence’s trip was intended to dispel reports that detainees were being kept in overcrowded and inhumane conditions.

The resulting footage showed a cage of hundreds of men, many who reported that they had not been allowed to brush their teeth or shower for up to 20 days.
