If you've been tuning in to the US' first presidential debate, you'll have seen plenty of mud-slinging between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump - but nothing beats the shade being thrown at the pair of them on social media.

It stared off with some sass:

Escalated when Trump says he has a better temperament than Clinton:

And that he's been building relationships "with the African American community":

On Trump's incessant sniffling:

And when he defends a lawsuit won against him:

When it's all about the body doubles:

Then it all gets too hard to watch:

And the drinking games come out:

And you're just about ready to give up:

Then this happens... and it's quickly deleted:
