Times Up at the Oscars

Since the Harvey Weinstein revelations, there’s been one issue dominating the 2018 awards season: systemic sexual harassment in Hollywood. And the Oscars were no exception.

Following the #metoo social media campaign the Times Up movement has been gaining momentum. Times Up has raised more than 21-million dollars in legal defence funding for victims of sexual harassment.

Unlike the Golden Globes, Times Up said they wouldn’t use the Oscars as another opportunity to make a political statement.

But that did not mean the issue was left off the red carpet...
