The continued success of Two And A Half Men will no longer be the weirdest thing about TV. Twin Peaks. It's coming back. The original creators of the show, David Lynch and Mark Frost have confirmed that Twin Peaks will return in 2016. The cult show was a surreal exploration of the dark underside of American life, in the guise of a search for the killer of Laura Palmer.

There's speculation that this might have been the plan all along; the finale which aired on June 10, 1991, included this cryptic line.
This was by no means the most surreal scene in the cult show, which featured a one-eyed woman with superpowers and a drape fixation, a lead who narrates the show to someone who may not be real, and interactions like this.

Frost and Lynch have suggested that they'll solve some of the mysteries left hanging. Who's still alive? Who's dead? How did Agent Dale Cooper manage to escape the red room to marry Charlotte? And does Non coming over the couch still plague your nightmares?
If you fancy refreshing your memory, check out the amazing Black Lodge scene, which still ranks as one of the weirdest, most subversive scenes every aired.
