The short video shared to the '@elysee' Instagram stories shows several of the heavyweights of world leadership - outgoing UK Prime Minister Theresa May, IMF director Christine Lagarde, Canadian PM Justin Trudeau and French President Emmanuel Macron in conversation.
Alongside them, US President Donald Trump's daughter, Ivanka, attempting to get a word in.
But an apparent awkward energy and some strong possible side-eye from Lagarde did not go unnoticed by the internet.
This tweet from US journalist Erin Ryan challenged everyone to go further. And with it, a meme was born.
In barely any time the hashtag '#UnwantedIvanka' was trending. Not only was she a part of this significant moment in history - she was now photoshopped into dozens of others too.
