Virgin Employees Get Unlimited Holidays

Richard Branson, long known for his iconoclastic management style, has proposed a novel concept; that both employees and employers stop tracking leave days, so you can have as much fun as he has.

Do you count down the days until your holidays, and then count the days until you have to go back? Some workplaces think it’s time for you to lose count altogether.

Richard Branson has blogged that he thinks workplaces should stop tracking their employee’s leave. He was inspired by the model used by Netflix, thus becoming the first person who has been inspired by Netflix to do anything other than binge watching while swimming in their own filth.

According to Branson, the way we measure time away from the office has to evolve to keep up with increased employee connectivity, where they answer texts and emails around the clock.
