It’s a brand new parliament and already the government is setting a bold new agenda of making it easier to racially discriminate. Le sigh.

Cory Bernardi will introduce a private members bill in parliament to remove section 18C of the racial discrimination act - which makes it illegal to offend or insult someone on the basis of their race.

And yes, we did debate this exact same thing two years ago.
