Children 'misdiagnosed' with intellectual disabilities using 'inappropriate tests'

Child-education specialists have told The Feed many non-verbal children have been misdiagnosed with intellectual disabilities, using inappropriate tests administered by Departments of Education. Although this does not prevent any child from enrolling at their local school, they say it can be difficult for those with little or no speech and many may end up in the wrong classrooms or with no education at all.
