3.8 magnitude earthquake shakes Melbourne

Thousands of people across Victoria were woken up overnight by a magnitude 3.8 earthquake. Its epicentre was less than 40 kilometres from Melbourne's CBD, making it the largest quake that close to Melbourne in more than 100 years.
