A daring reinterpretation of a Shakespeare classic is challenging ballet's default heterosexual depiction of love. Romeo and Juliet Suite was choreographed by Benjamin Millepied, best known for his work on the film Black Swan. In his take on the classic, performed at the Sydney Opera House, the lead roles will be played by three diverse pairings, including two same-sex couples.
